Vacant space inventory

We often get calls from people looking for space for various kinds of businesses. Unfortunately, it is hard to keep up with what properties might be available.

Please help us help you lease or sell your space on Main. We are currently trying to take inventory of vacant space. If you own a building that isn't full, let us know how much space is available. If you don't know the details, but have an agent you are working with, have him/her give us a call. We just need some basic information to pass on to those inquiring. Then we can match them up with the perfect spot and pass their information on to you!

Let's work together to fill our empty spaces with great businesses that will bring more and more people to shop and work on the Corridor.

Making Kansas City a safe city

Some of you may have taken part in the Safe City Initiative a year or so ago. During the course of many meetings, it became clear that Kansas City residents envisioned an integrated net of services, activities, city departments, emergency service personnel and neighborhood residents working together to make us the safest city in the United States.

The Center for Excellence in Safety is the result of those meetings you attended. Cathy Stackpole has been named the executive director. The Steering Committee of the Safe City Initiative began meeting in September. Several other groups are being formed to address issues in the neighborhoods; looking at ways to create a unified phone system as an alternative to 911 for city services and other community services; youth and the arts and others.

If you want to become involved, contact Cathy at 513-2809.
