Main Street Special Review District

A special review district is a legal tool that supplements zoning and defines desirable physical characteristics of property, including signage, to make sure that changes conform to that character.

  • An SRD is an overlay district.
  • Establishes design guidelines for property repair, rehabilitation or new construction.
  • Only applies to new activity

This committee is appointed by the mayor and staffed by the city planner for the fourth district.
